Taylor Faith: Hi, my name's Taylor. I am a sophomore in high school, and in the jazz and marching bands. I've been playing piano for 5 1/2 years, clarinet for 3 1/2, and tenor saxophone since September of 2013. I love to sing and have been working on jazz almost a year. I plan on going to college for music in a few years, and my goal is to become a professional musician.
Katie Burdett: Hi! I'm Katie! I'm a junior in high school. I'm in the jazz and marching band with Taylor. I've been playing trumpet for six years now and I am now the trumpet section leader. I just upgraded from my Uncle's thirty year old trumpet to a shining gorgeous new professional trumpet. I plan on going to college for either music or English. My dream is to become either an author or a professional musician.
Justin Ellis: I play the bass. Not just in Young & Swingin', but at Live Band Karaoke all around the Worcester area and in my own band Offset Alley. I've only been playing bass for three years, but I already play music by the like of Jaco Pastorius and James Jamerson. I also play the tuba in the marching band with the others. I plan on becoming a professional touring musician, and recording music with my band.
Maxwell Shepherd: I play the trombone. I have been playing trombone for 3 years and am in 8th grade. I plan to play with the Leominster High School marching band during the 2014-2015 season.
Benjamin Swift: I play the alto saxophone in the marching band, bari sax in the jazz band, and drums in Justin's band, Offset Alley. I'm becoming a junior. It makes me feel old.....I plan on becoming a game designer......if I'm not on tour with Offset Alley.....
